Here’s some quick snaps of a piece that I was working on during my holidays. Because I work 80% in my sketchbook, I don’t tend to document each particular stage (insert sappy new years resolution to produce more work and document it accordingly).

Emotional Firecracker

There is something about ‘black letters’ that has so much character. It really should be used more. Maybe people are scared of using it. My boss would kill me if I used it for a logo. But at least there will be variation! Wink Wink. You’ll be seeing more of this kind of typography I think, I would like to experiment with designs on the inside of each letters. Here’s hoping that the next erotic ad doesn’t have too many words! Enjoy.

So.. its been quite a while since my last post, have to tell you, things have changed..including a new job! Hurray! In saying that my typography posts have been quite slack..better late then never right?

Meanwhile, the newspaper has been producing some great erotic ads, very nice and ‘interesting’ descriptions, I must say. This piece is one of more to come…

I work for a t-shirt company, we do wholesale and print awesome tees.
